The Story Behind the Special JTA Design
The "Jimbee Jet (Whale Shark Jet)" is JTA's original paint scheme, created through a collaboration with the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, featuring the theme of "an Encounter with the Ocean of Okinawa."
Inspired by the whale shark at the aquarium, the "Jimbee Jet" and the cherry blossom-colored "Sakura Jimbee" are currently in service. The design has several hidden details, so be sure to take a close look. Even the towing vehicles that pull the aircraft have the same two designs.
